Graphic era's students and faculties awarded on setting new records

 

Union Human Resource Development Minister commended the achievements of Graphic Era

Union Human Resource Development Minister, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank honored the students and teachers who set a glorious record in Graphic Era University. The students who got selected in Amazon were felicitated in this event. They made a world record by creating a paper nache and also by building an electric car and stood fourth position in national level. 

Human Resource Development Minister Dr. Nishank praised the achievements of Graphic Era and the dedication of Chairman of Graphic Era Group Dr. Kamal Ghanshala as an example of what a person can do by transforming his vision into a mission with his hard work, focused will, honesty and dedication. Dr. Nishank said that  he saw Graphic Era hill University as a plant and today it is a big tree. He is very happy to see the university grow at a great level. He also said that he was very happy when he came to know that the students of Graphic Era created a national portal for AICTE and he is proud to see that Graphic Era has established itself well in a short span of time.

Dr. Nishank said that by taking 25% concession in tuition fee to the students of Uttarakhand, Graphic Era has made a personal contribution. With the announcement of the scholarship for 75 children under the Aashirwad scheme of Dr. Kamal Ghanshala  the whole country is getting connected and the Prime Minister's support is to carry forward the slogans of development. 

Dr. Nishank awarded Btech CS students of Graphic Era University Amber Saxena, Priyanka Gujral, Ravindra Singh Bisht, Aman Bijalwan, Ishita Verma, Hitendra Singh and Rishab Malik for getting selected in American Multinational Company Amazon and after the completion of their internship these student are eligible for appointment on a package of 30.25lacs. Students of Graphic Era Deemed University Yatharth Joshi and Yuvraj Joshi were also honored in this program. Yatharth and Yuvraj set the world record by creating an artwork of 4.2 meters high and 4.2 point meters wide. Dr. Nishank also honored B.Tech Mechanical Engineering student Madhur Saxena and Gagan Bansal for Shell Eco Marathon India 2019 held in Bengaluru for making an electric car prototype which won Circular Economy Award in the event and the  team achieved overall fourth place in the country. 

AICTE Chairman Prof. Anil D. Sahastrabuddhe Vice President Prof. Dr. M.P. Poonia, Director RIFD Col V. Venkat, MHRD CEO Dr. Abhay Jain, AICTE Advisor Prof. Malkhade and Prof. Rajeev Kumar along with other members of the institution were seen to be present in the event.

Graphic Era organises intresting kite competition

Like every year, a kite festival was organised with full enthusiasm today in Graphic Era deemed to be University on the occasion of Makar Sakranti.  

Large number of students from various courses  participated in this program happily. Different kite competition were organised during this program which included the best creative and unique kite and the best Boomerang making competition.

Approximately 400 students from Graphic Era Deemed to be University participated in this event.  There were different colourful and creative kites in this program some of which included pictures of  superman, Doremon, Army and PM Modi. The best kite flying award went to Utkarsh Srivastava from B.Tech, Anshul Pandey got the gold medal for best Boomrang and the best creative Kite trophy was given to Swarnim, Aditya and Abhishek Bhardwaj.

On this occasion, Dr M P Singh, Registrar, Graphic Era Deemed to be University and others remained present.

 

Pledge To Come Together To Take The Nation Forward

Dehradun, 26 January । On the occasion of Republic day Graphic Era pledged to bring the nation forward on the global platform with full determination, honesty and team spirit.

Senior Member Management Graphic Era Ms. Rakhi Ghanshala hoisted the tricolor and took salute from the NCC in Graphic era Deemed University. During this occasion chancellor Dr. R. C. Joshi and Vice chancellor Dr. Rakesh Sharma emphasised that for bringing the nation on the global platform, we all should come together with our full potential and calibre. After this Ms. Rakhi Ghanshala hoisted the tricolor in Graphic Era Hill University and inspected the NCC parade. Vice chancellor Dr. Sanjay Jasola called for the youth to keep pace with time and also said in order to bring the country forward it is essential for youngsters to collaborate with the latest technology.

 

Two days workshop organized in Graphic era on Design thinking and Innovation

Two days workshop commenced in Graphic Era Deemed University on Design thinking and Innovation. The workshop was organized by the Managements studies department with an aim to enhance the human skills, technical skills and conception skills of the students.

For the first time in Uttarakhand this workshop is organized in association with National Productivity Council in the premises of Graphic Era Deemed University.

Tarachand Dhoundiyal, expert trainer, National Productivity Council addressed the students on the importance on creative and innovation thinking. Emphasizing on attaining human skills he said that it is important to focus on technical and conceptual knowledge.  In this workshop students took part in various innovative activities and also analyzed different case studies.

Dr. Deepak Kaushal and Dr. Navaneet Rawat from the Department of Management studies were the organizers of this workshop. 

Students learned Startup tricks in Graphic Era (Deemed to be University)

75% of contribution in startups in Uttarakhand  are given by the students of Graphic Era (Deemed to be University). The workshop was organized by the Technological Business Incubator Division of Graphic Era University. During this workshop they also launched their official website www.tbigeu.com . The main objective of the workshop was to motivate the students for working on startups and to develop innovative ideas and also providing funds to the ideas generated. Students of various study areas of  Graphic Era University are connected with TBI. Under this program, students will get the opportunity to work under Make in India, Department of Science and Technology and Startup Uttarakhand, so far about 150 plus projects, 300 plus reviews, and 200 plus clients and 10 plus incubators are been achieved in TBI. 

Professor Rakesh Sharma, Vice Chancellor of Graphic Era Deemed University, encouraged the students, saying that every startup is first a small idea, which if worked hard and diligently takes the form of a big enterprise, CEO of TBI Vishal JC encouraged the students to learn from their failures and work accordingly.
