A faculty development program was organised in Graphic Era Deemed to be University where educators from different parts of the country learned about Entrepreneurship in detail. This FDP session was organised in the university from 18th June to 1st July. During this FDP session experts from Industry and Education background focused on different aspects of Entrepreneurship. The chief guest for the closing ceremony was Mr. S.C. Mittal, who quoted that, "Entrepreneurship is itself an accomplishment". This program was organised in collaboration with KIET, Ghaziabad and Graphic Era deemed to be University.

Graphic Era B.Tech student, Vanshika gets a package of 26.21 lakh rupees

Dehradun, 3rd July. Vanshika Bhardawaj of Graphic Era University gets a placement with an offer of 26.21 lakh rupees annually from one of the America’s renowned and prestigious company, Adobe.

A few weeks ago, the same company has offered a placement package of 40.67 lakh rupees to Shubhi Muniyal, a student of B.Tech Computer Science. Vanshika who has been recently selected with an offer of 26.21 lakh rupees annually is also a student of B.Tech Computer Science (Big Data Analytics).  Adobe announced this selection today itself. Vanshika Bhardwaj is a resident from Bijnaur. Getting direct appointment from one of the renowned companies of the world, and also getting a 99.26 percentile in GATE 2019 examination, for IIT M.Tech, Vanshika has time and again proved her talent and skill. Based on her outstanding percentile, she has also got an admission offer at IIT Madras in M.Tech.

Soon after receiving the placement offer from Adobe, Vanshika Bhardawaj said that choosing Graphic Era Deemed University for pursuing B.Tech has been one of the wisest decisions in life because of which she could accomplish these achievements. The learning environment and holistic education that she received at Graphic Era Deemed University has led her to achieve heights of success in an early stage of life. It is worth mentioning that in the last month itself, Adobe has offered the first appointment placement package of 26.21 lakh rupees annually to Akanksha Dhyani, Bhawna Gaur and Nimisha Agarwal, three students of B Tech Computer Science of Graphic Era Hill University.


Dehradun, 12July: Graphic Era University organised a population awareness fortnight  on  its campus.NCC cadets from various PG and inter colleges in the city made people aware about the harmful effects of population growth. Winners of various competitions organised during the awareness fortnight were felicitated by the university authorities today.
Speaking on the last day of the awareness fortnight, Commanding  Officer of 29 UK Bn, Col. Sudeep Bose apprised cadets about the harmful effects of population growth and it's control.  Lt. Dinesh Pandey, Subedar Major, Baljinder, unit JCO, Tilak Gurang remained present during the event.

Prominent chef Vikas Khanna interacts with students in Graphic Era

Michelin star chef Vikash Khanna said that it the duty of every Indian to pay the debt of his soil. While interacting with students during a live session in Graphic Era Hill University, the world famous chef, writer and film maker said that the success story of any successful person is incomplete until he  does something for his country and his alma mater. On this special occasion Khanna also inaugurated a mango festival organized in Graphic Era Deemed University.

Khanna said that the most important role in the life of any successful person is played by his alma mater which lays the foundation of his professional life. Even after collecting several degrees from Abroad he cannot pay the debt of his alma mater and teachers. He asked the students of Graphic Era Deemed and Graphic Era Hill University to take an oath to do something for there alma mater after succeeding in life.

Any university is know because of its alumni and the alumni who do something for their institution became immortal for generation to come. “I have also tried to do my bit by making a museum of antique indian utensils in my alma mater”, he said. 

He added that you will be meeting several veterans the moment you step in the professional world. Rather than getting intimidated, you should be curious and try to learn from them. The journey of your success story starts from where you begin. Those who want to become entrepreneurs should be ready to take risks in life. Devotion towards one’s work can transform an ordinary person an exceptionally talented one. The judge of Star Plus Master Chef India show was seen surrounded by students, for selfie’s and his autographs on his book Wholesome Grain.

The Hotel Management department of Graphic Era Deemed University had organized a Mango festival on this occasion. Khanna inaugurated the event and also interacted with the students.Students had prepared cuisine’s like mango fried fish, mango saffron rice, tamarind  mango chicken salsa and mango curry chicken for the festival.Vice chancellor, Graphic Era Hill University Prof.(Dr.) Sanjay Jasola, Director Dr. Ajay Kumar, Mr. Amar Dabral and Mr. Rahul Chandel remained present on the occasion. The event was coordinated by Mr. Sahib Sablok.

New session begins in Graphic Era University 
Graphic era believes in the over all grooming of the students: Dr. Ghanshala. President Graphic Era Group Dr. Kamal Ghanshala said that Graphic era not only imparts education but also believes in the overall grooming of the students. Dr. Ghanshala was addressing the parents and guardians of first year students where he mentioned that Graphic Era is not only known for its fabulous placements but is also known for the benchmarks and achievements created by its students. 
Dr. Ghanshala said that this years highest package of was grabbed by Ujjwal Kumar who was offered an annual package of 55 Lakh by SNS designs. Before this Shubhi Muniyal student of grabbed the annual package of 40.67 lakh by American multinational company Abode. 
9 members of the 10 member team which is preparing the MHRD portal are students of Graphic era University. This is a commendable achievement for us.Dr. Ghanshala also told that Graphic era is also preserving Laxman jhula by Retrofitting. 
Dr. Ghanshala mentioned about Rajat Jain student the University who made the smallest and cheapest ECG machine and got his name registered in the top 20 startup list of the nation. He said that Graphic era promotes it’s students for new inventions and startups. He also mentioned about Abhilash Semwal who invented bomb detector, will soon be preparing an instrument for state transportation corporation. This device will prevent drunken people from driving a vehicle. Dr. Ghanshala said that Graphic Era does not only transforms dream of it’s students into reality but also does same for there parents.


President of Graphic Era Group Mr. Kamal Ghanshala said that the parents of students studying in any university can tell the correct status to the people about the university. 
Dr. Ghanshala addressed the parents of new btech batch on the first day of Btech Induction Programme of Graphic Era Hill University today. Talking to parents in a crowded conference hall, Dr. Ghanshala said that parents are the eyes, nose and ears of the university. He also mentioned that parents give authentic feedback and suggestions which are included for the improvement in the working of the university.
And for the same purpose, parents teacher interaction was the main concern of this induction programme. Dr. Ghanshala said that Graphic Era is known to set new records with placements. Ujjwal Kumar student of Btech CS, grabbed an annual package of 55lacs and also he got a job offer in SNS Designs. At the same time, Adobe has offered a package of 40.67lacs to Shubhi Muniyal student of Btech CS also Adobe has offered a package of 26.21lakhs annually to three students of Btech CS of Graphic Era Hill University who were Bhavana Gaur, Akashsha Dhyani and Nimisha Agarwal.
Dr. Ghanshala also focused about the infrastructure, food court, bus facility etc. provided by the Graphic Era, he also asked parents to guide their children that whenever they go out of the college campus they should be alert and safe.
Vice-Chancellor of Graphic Era Hill University, Dr. Sanjay Jasola congratulated the parents and said that the university has been encouraging students to create feeling of education, including discipline and duties. He told that Graphic Era is included in the top 10 universities of India in cleanliness, Also graphic era is included in 10 best institutes of India in Digital Initiative and learning by MHRD. In this 12days of induction program students were encourged to take various projects based on subjects like Android application, IOT etc. Head of the Management department Mr. Vishal Sagar gave mantras to the students to work on more output in limited amount of time. There were also screening of motivational movies in this induction programme. On this occasion Dr. Ajay Kumar, Director Graphic Era Hill University, 
Head of various Btech branches, faculty members of other departments were seen. The programme was hosted by Btech faculty Ms. Himani Sivaram. 

Kargil Vijay Diwas was celebrated on victory wall of Graphic Era

Students Graphic Era University today paid the homage to the martyrs of Kargil by lightning candles.  On the occasion of 2th anniversary of Kargil Vijay diwas students and faculties remembered the martyrs who slayed their lives in 1999. NCC cadets of Graphic Era Hill University also paid there  homage to the martyrs. Students were told about the states first wall of victory which has two Victoria cross martyrs and   21 paraveer chakra martyrs.

Inspite of rain rizzle and cloudy weather students of Media and Mass Communication along with NCC cadets paid there tribute to the martyrs.  Vice-chancellor Graphic Era Hill University Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Jasola, along with director infrastructure Graphic Era Prof.(Dr.) Subhash Gupta, and senior administrative officer D. S. Rawat was also present during the occasion. Lt. Dines Pandey, Lt. Niharika Varshney, Himani Binjola, Sandeep Bhatt, Vidushi Negi, Akriti Dhoundiyal and Vikram Rautela were also part of the occasion.
