AIEAA (All India Engineering Aptitude Award) on-line Examination

Dehradun, 6th May, 2017. An All India Engineering Aptitude Awards test conducted in 130 centers across the country on Saturday the 6 May, 2017. A large number of students across the country participated in this test organized by Graphic Era Group. The objective of the test is  to give talented students opportunity to pursue higher education from institutes of their choice. University will give away awards worth more than Rs 40 lakhs to the high scoring students. While Ist prize will be a cash award of  Rs. 10 lakh, the second and third rankers will be given Rs 5 lakh and Rs 2.5 lakh respectively. Several other cash awards  will also be given in addition to these awards.

Not only this Graphic Era Group will offer scholarship to top 500 ranker holders, who choose to take admission in Graphic Era University and Graphic Era Hill University. The maximum scholarship will be up to 100 per cent of the total tuition fee and the top 100 rankers of the National level test can get direct admission in either of the two universities. Speaking on the occasion President of Graphic Era Group of Institutions , Prof (Dr)  Kamal Ghanshala said that a large number of students from across the country have exhibited their talent today and the results of the same will be announced soon.



Graphic Era University hoists the States’ tallest Tricolor at the Campus.

The 111 feet tall Tricolor was unfurled by Minister of State (with independent charge) Dr Dhan Singh Rawat and the Prof(Dr) Kamal Ghanshala, President, Graphic Era Group of Institutions. This Tricolor, by far is the tallest in the state of Uttarakhand.

The Tricolour is the symbol of our unity that leads us on one common way of Dharma even after being of different faiths and religions. The objective behind hoisting the Tricolour is to inculcate among our students the national pride , and unflinching service to our great nation.

Addressing the large gathering of students, faculty and staff of Graphic Era University, Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat said the state government of Uttarakhand state is going to make national flag hoisting  , national anthem, and vande matram  singing compulsory for all the universities and colleges. He appreciated the efforts of Graphic Era University for  following a strict having a dress code  in the campus and inculcating feeling of patriotism among the students by hoisting the highest flag within their campus premises.

He elaborated that 1 lakh bottles of blood,  collected  through voluntary donations from Uttarakhand state, will be sent to Ministry of Defense for the cause of helping soldiers.  Dr Rawat further added that 180 days of quality education will be made compulsory for all the universities and colleges of the state. Examination results will be declared within 40 days of completion of examinations. In order to avoid manipulation, the degrees will have photographs and will be linked with the Adhaar card as well. Dress code for all university/college students has been made mandatory, which will reflect uniformity and equality among students. Every year, ‘Kargil Vijay Diwas’ and  ‘Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali Jyanti’ will also be celebrated in the state. A comprehensive strategy is being chalked out for enhancing the quality of education. Very soon, 1000 more teachers  will be  appointed to end the shortage  of teachers in the state. No tobacco, cigarette or alcohol shop would be allowed in the200 meters vicinity of the campus.

Prof (Dr) Kamal Ghanshala in his address said that it was his long  cherished wish to hoist   A tallest National Flag that will instill the feelings of nationality, unity and pride in our youth. Very Soon, within a period of one month, a similar flag hoisting will be hoisted in Graphic Era Hill University Dehradun Campus and Bhimtal Campus. He said, during his visits to foreign universities he witnesses  that country’s  national and university flag perched on top of their tallest buildings and they  teach the students to be proud of their national unity and heritage,  “ I  like to have similar flags in each of our  buildings”  he said amidst thunderous applause from the students and staff.

The universities of Graphic Era Group:  Graphic Era University and Graphic Era Hill University  have started the admission procedure of the B Com (Hon) and B.B.A courses accredited by ACCA and CMA. , Graphic Era University is once again introducing new courses keeping in view the requirements of the Global market trends. Students pursuing other B.Com (H)  and BBA courses will now be awarded degrees in Advanced Accounting and Certified Chartered and Management Accountancy  by Stanford Management Accounting in America and will also be eligible to work and practise in a number of countries and the world’s topmost companies. In addition to this students pursuing ACCA certified courses can work in England and Europe. In the case of CMA certified courses, students can work and practice in the top most organizations in the United States. These courses have been introduced in Graphic Era University, Graphic Era Hill Universities in Dehradun and Bhimtal campuses.

Graphic Era presents Award to the Winners of Graphic Era Engineering Talent Search AIEAA-2017 and High score achievers of GATE

The cash awards were given away to the top rank holders of AIEAA-2017 (All India Engineering Aptitude Award); a national level aptitude test, conceptualized and organized by Graphic Era for helping all the engineering aspirants to have a successful career ahead. The awards were given away by the state higher education minister Dr Dhan Singh Rawat and the President of Graphic Era Group of Institutions, Prof (Dr) Kamal Ghanshala, in an impressive ceremony held at Graphic Era Hill University auditorium on 28 May, 2017.  The winners were felicitated at the award ceremony.

Dr Dhan Singh speaking on this occasion said that Graphic Era has reached the pinnacle of success in imparting quality higher education and has students from  pan India, attaining higher education and are getting placed in the premier national and multinational  companies across the globe. Among the center government’s list of universities Graphic Era University is the only university of the state which has got ranking among the 150. He spoke about the  journey of Dr kamal Ghanshala,  founder of Graphic Era, attained his education from schools of Munsiyari and Gairsain and it is the result of his sheer hard work and dedication which has  resulted in the creation of giant universities , Dr Dhan Singh called it as  major contribution of Dr Ghanshala towards higher education.

While speaking on this occasion Prof (Dr) Kamal Ghanshala said that the main motive of this talent search was to encourage and motivate all the meritorious students to attain engineering education. Through the  scholarships received by the  meritorious students they would be able to join  any university or institution of their choice. He said that students across the nation participated in huge numbers in this talent search .

51 students of Graphic Era University  and Graphic Era Hill University who have secured 90 to 99.62  percentile in GATE examination were awarded during the ceremony. The President said that students of Graphic Era who aspire to do M.Tech from IIT have to score close to this in GATE .

The award winners of AIEAA- 2017 ARE:

  • The first Cash award of Rs. 10 lacs  has been bagged by  Ravneesh Kumar from Thakurdwara, Moradabad. He secured 92.5%  marks in AIEAA
  • The second cash award of Rs. 5 lacs has been bagged  by Sanjoli Narang, from Panipat . She secured 85% marks in AIEAA.
  • The third prize of Rs 2.5 lacs  has been bagged by Chirag Gupta from Panchkula.
  • Ekanshdeep Gupta from Rudrapur in Uttarakhand stood 12th in the entire country.
  • Rs 1 lac was received by Ansh Gupta from J N V Hariharpur, Mehandwal, Harsh Vardhan from Holy Angel Convent School, Muzaffarnagar, Prashant Kurrey from Jawahar Navodaya School in Raigarh, Chhattishgarh respectively getting fourth, fifth and sixth place in the merit list.
  • Rs. 50 thousand award have been bagged by Manthan Sharma from S D Public School, Muzaffarnagar, Manvendra Singh from Gorakhpur  for  eighth position.
  • Rs 50 thousand  award has been bagged  by Saumya Kranti Bera and Ayush Kumar Singh from Kottayam in Tamil Nadu respectively for ninth and tenth position.
  • Deepak Nigam from Springdale School in Lucknow got eleventh place and Ekanshdeep Gupta, from R A N Public School in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand got twelfth place in the country.
  • Samarth Gupta from Summer Valley School in Dehradun, remained 14th. Ujjwal Mittal from Gautam International School and Yatharth Gairola from St. Joseph Academy got 20th and 21st place respectively.
