Global Academic Internship Program at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore

Graphic Era Deemed to be University in collaboration with Corporate Gurukul, Singapore provided the Graphic Era students with the opportunity to pursue Academic Internship from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore by the faculties of National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore and Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. Global Internship Programme at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, 2016

MBA Students of 2015-17 batch from GEU and GEHU visited Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU) for Global Internship Programme during 28th August to 2nd September, 2016 accompanied by faculty members. Students attended lectures and had case studies on “Asian Corporate Leaders”. Nanyang Technological Universty (NTU), Singapore is rated as Singapore’s #2 and is in top #80 universities in world’s ranking.

Eminent professors of NTU delivered lectures to the students providing them the Global Perspectives in the areas of Entrepreneurship, Finance, Branding and Leadership. All the students were awarded with NTU certificates.

Mr Piyush Arora (Btech CSE IIIrd year) carried out his summer internship in International Business from 18th July to 5th August, 2016. Piyush was honoured with “Outstanding Research Award” for his project work carried out during his internship.

        

Mr Gautam Ishpujani (Btech ME IIIrd year) carried out his summer internship in International Business from 18th July to 5th August, 2016. Gautam was honoured with “Creativity Award” for his brilliant presentation and innovative ideas during his internship.

During the immersion program students were exposed to journey of Dubai to a preferred Investment and tourist Destination.

Students visited Dubai Stock Exchange, Pepsi Co factory, Bin Ghurair LLC as well as Burj Khalifa, Dubai Museum, Bur Dubai creek, Jumerirah Mosque, Lost Chambers Aquarium etc.

Global Immersion Program at Singapore, 2014

MBA Students of 2013-15 batch visited Nanyang Business SchoolSingapore  (NBS) for Global Internship Programme during 24th to 30th August, 2014 accompanied by faculty members. Nanyang Business School, Singapore is rated as Singapore’s # 1 MBA, Global MBA Rankings, by The Financial Times 2013 and 32nd in the world by The Financial Times Global MBA Rankings 2013.

Eminent professors of NBS delivered lectures to the students providing them the Global Perspectives in the areas of Entrepreneurship, Finance, Branding and Leadership. All the students were awarded with NBS certificates. In addition students also visited NEwater Plant. Currently, NEWater plant at Changi meets up to 30% of the nation’s current water needs.

 

   

 

Global Immersion Program at Malaysia, 2013

MBA Students of 2012-14 batch visited Malaysia for International Immersion Programme during 4th to 9th May, 2013 accompanied by faculty members. During the immersion program, students visited various industries including Panasonic, Royal Salengor, MATRADE (Malaysia Business Information Centre) and Beryl’s Chocolate factory in Kuala Lumpur.

Mr. Zhiqian Chen, student of University of Auckland, New Zealand has carried out an internship from January 2017 to March 2017 at the Department of Computer Science Engineering. Mr. Zhiqian Chen carried out the work entitled “Video Analysis and Feature Extraction Methods for Human Action Recognition” under the supervision of Prof. D R Gangodkar and Asst. Mr. Northey Saunders, student of University of Western Australia, Australia has carried out an internship from January 2017 to February 2017 at the Department of Civil Engineering. Mr. Christian Humberto Zurita carried out the work entitled “Response of a rotor dynamic system by considering the stiffness and damping of the sysytem” under the supervision of Prof. Pravin Patil and Asst.
