The undergraduate program in Economics has been designed to give the students a liberal and comprehensive education as a precursor to a highly challenging and rewarding career. Study of Economics concerns the wealth of nations, its origins in production and exchange, resource allocation among competing uses, distribution among individuals and accumulation or decline of wealth.

The study of Economics will  create in the students subject-specific  skills, such as making  well-informed decisions, a large part of the subject is  about decision making;  how  to make maximum use of existing resources, how should the government minimize the  budget deficit; what should a business do to raise profit margins and how to invest the  money.

Economists and economics experts are at the heart of the business world and financial consulting.  A degree in Economics qualifies the students for a multitude of career choices, both in the public and private sectors of the economy. They can work as logistics, marketing analysts, as bankers, investors, etc.
Many students opt for careers in the banking sector that offers them the scope for high earnings and career advancement. They are also in high demand for the positions of finance controllers, financial planner, risk analysts, data analysts and investment consultants. Economics graduates can also work in the field of accountancy, where they can focus on monitoring the financial situation of an organization, business or individual. Students with a Bachelor's degree in psychology can also pursue entry-level positions in fields like mental health management, human resources, social work, and advertising. With a broad base of knowledge regarding behavior and mental processes, an undergraduate degree in psychology prepares the students for advanced study in Clinical/Counseling Psychology, Educational Psychology, Developmental, organizational and Social, and psychology. Counseling psychologists counsel people facing emotional challenges.  They can also work in the areas of career counseling, education. Many Psychologists prefer to work in private practice, at schools or at universities. A Psychologist can also work in industries as human resources officer and deal with sales, marketing, administration, and management issues in the workplace. A Psychologists job in organizations involves recruitment, development and training, policy planning and organization analysis. The Program in Political science helps in developing understandings of institutions, practices, and relations that constitute public life and modes of inquiry that promote citizenship. It is a 3 year undergraduate course. English is a West Germanic language that arose in England and spread into what was to become south-east Scotland.B.A. (Hons) English encompasses the study of English language and literature and how it came in modern form along with highlighting many aspects of English society through drama, poetry, novel and play.

One dissects popular texts and poems and the course is not just limited to the syllabi but to a general awareness of one’s surroundings.
