Dr. Pavan Kumar Emani did his civil engineering from the Nagarjuna University of Andhra Pradesh in 2001. He worked as Scientific Officer/ Design Engineer in BARC till 2005, and latter on completed his Ph. D from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee by 2009. He worked as an Associate Professor in the civil Engineering Department of College of Engineering Roorkee, Roorkee for almost three years. Dr. Emani  co-authored research/ technical papers in eight international and national conferences and three international journals. Dr. Emani also received the Homi Bhabha Award during his training period in BARC.  Dr. Emani is a life member of the Indian Society of Earthquake Technology (ISET).
