A Lesson For Self Defence
Workshop for Self-Defence for Girls
Graphic Era University organized a 4-days workshop to train the girl-students for their self-defence.
The programme was inaugrated by Women Empowerment Minister Mrs. Vijaya Barthwal.

For this special training programme, fight choreographer "Kanishka Sharma" was invited. He is Martial Arts Expert and Shaolin Expert, who train people to beat the enemy in adverse circumstances. He taught students, especially girls, how they can use simple objects like pen, hairpin, scarf,bag as a weapon, to overcome their enemy. He was earlier involved in training of Special Forces in India and has also worked for many Bolywood blockbusters as stunt choreographer.

Graphic Era University has always supported and encouraged girls to come forward and strenghten themselves.
