Change is the only constant in business. With the latest technological, political, economic and social developments, the industry is dynamic with new opportunities and issues. The emerging and challenging trends in the business have to find place in the curricula of Management schools, enabling them to adequately equip candidates for effectively dealing with emerging curves of business. With this end in view, Faculty of Management Studies, GEU with Industries Association of Uttarakhand (IAU) organized a CORPORATE DAY – Industry Academia Interface” on 9 June, 2012 at GEU Campus.

Industry experts had shared their real life business challenges with faculty members and given various inputs on enhancing the overall effectiveness of the MBA program.

Discussions had also centered on the need for greater mutual collaboration between industry and University, global exposure of the Faculty, Accreditation, Research, Funding and Corporate responsibilities.

In our pursuit to achieve the academic excellence, we regularly modify and adapt our course curriculum according to the industry changes. We are determined to build up a strong industry interface to facilitate pragmatic curriculum development and to attract research grant & consultancy.
