AIDS Awareness Rally by, Faculty of Management Studies- GEU

AIDS AWARENESS RALLY ORGANISED BY GEU, FACULTY OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES


To spread awareness among the people regarding AIDS, Faculty of Management Studies, Graphic Era University, took out a Red Ribbon Rally to drive home the importance of AIDS awareness to represent the World AIDS Day on December 1, 2011.


Rally was flagged off by GEU, Vice Chancellor, Dr. D.P Giridhar. He appreciated the students for their contribution to community development. Faculty of Management Studies Dean, Col. (Dr.) R.L Raina graced the occasion and advised students to take precautionary measures. Rally was started at 10:00am from University’s Gate No. 1 and passed through Mobbhewala Village, Saharanpur Chowk to Subhash Nagar before concluded at University’s

Faculty of Management Studies. Students from MBA 1st year participated in the rally which was well coordinated by MBA 2nd year students.


The major attraction of the rally was colorful hand-painted placards and banners by students with awareness information about AIDS. Moreover, students distributed leaflets to locals carrying information on prevention and treatment of the deadly disease.




Also graced the occasion were some of the senior faculties from the Faculty of Management Studies like Dr. Pankaj Jha, Mr. Uday Khanna, Mr. Sanjeev Arora, Mr. Sandeep Choudhary, Mr. Manish Sharma, Mr. Sanjeev Chauhan, Mr. Rajat Pundeer, Mr. Ajay Chauhan and Ms. Divya Joshi.
