Teaching MethodologyTeaching Methodology
An effective teaching methodology is in place at the GEU based on annual audit till date. The salient aspects are VC of BITS, Pilani and the Director IIIT Hyderabad on the Academic Advisory Panel, Subjects based on the teachers choice and vetted in detail by the HoDs and Lesson Plan and Lesson Script prepared during semester breaks.

To award Degrees to pass out students of all Degree programs, Convocation is organized every year at the college campus. During the last few years we have had some esteemed guests presiding over the functions, gracing the occasion to encourage young students.
 
 
 

Gyan Jyoti Scholarship

With a view to acknowledge academic brilliance and felicitate the meritorious students for their outstanding performance in academics, GEU confers Gyan Jyoti Scholarship on semester basis to those students who come-up with flying colours over the academic sessions.

As per this scheme, based on the academic performance in each of the semesters, a scholarship constituting prize money and a certificate of merit is bestowed upon the top three positions. Besides, a medal is awarded to the top three position holders of the program along with the degree at the time of convocation.

The scholarship package for various positions is as follows:

    This is a further extension to our endeavour towards giving impetus to performers and encouragement to others.
  • 10% of Uttarakhand quota seats will be given 50 % fee concession purely on merit basis for below poverty line/ girl child/ physically handicapped in the ratio 3:2:1.
  • 1 seat per course reserved for armed/ paramil pers from Uttarakhand killed in action or insurgency. 50% fee concession.
