With immense teaching experience, and the role ranging from Lecturer to Head of the Department, has completed his graduation, in Electrical Engineering, from a reputed government engineering college, MIT Muzafferpur, Bihar, and completed his Ph.D. from MNNIT Allahabad, India.
His research interests include power quality, with special emphasis on characterization, classification and detection of voltage sags, power quality survey, measurements, and standards. He has done extensive and illustrious work in these parts and published numerous research papers in the journals of repute, including, IEEE Transaction on Power Delivery, Springer, IET-GTD, Taylor and Francis. Also, he has contributed his research work in numerous international conferences, held in India and abroad. His research papers are available with, IEEE-ICHQP, Honkong, IEEE-SCES, IEEE-ICPEC, IEEE-ICCPCT, IEEE-Nuicon, WREC, Sweden etc.
His research contributions are not limited to journal and conference papers, only. He has enthusiastically participated as an organising committee member of numerous IEEE and national conferences. Additionally, in view of his recent substantial creative contribution in the area of power quality, he has been invited as a guest speaker in various renowned universities, like, MNNIT Allahabad. Through, expert lecture and review of reputed journal papers, he has unremittingly shared his research skill and experience, amongst the researchers, engineers, and experts working in the area of power quality. Also, he is an active reviewer of IEEE Transaction, IET-GTD, Springer and preferred reviewer of Taylor and Francis. Additionally, he has qualified, several times in GATE, one most prestigious examination of India.
