International Exchange / Visits

  • Two students – Mr. Ernesto Del La Tore and Ms. Manpreet Kaur of College of Business and Public Administration, California State University – San Bernardino, California, USA did their Internship at GEU.
  • Prof. Lutz H Schminke, of FULDA University, Germany conducted a Workshop on International Marketing Management (5-14 Nov 2014) for students of Management under the Distinguished Visiting Professor Program.

He also conducted an FDP on Strategic Management in Global Context, 17th-19th November, 2014 for faculty members of School of Management.

  • Under Global Immersion Program, students of MBA visited Singapore and Nanyang Business School in August 2014.
  • The students of MBA Batch (2014-16) of GEU and GEHU visited Dubai under Global Immersion Program from 1st to 9th Sep. 2015 accompanied by faculty members.

Student Achievements

  • Ankit Garg and Team Devmart (students of MBA IV semester) did a project Devmart under IAU Uttarakhand. This project Devmart was selected in a BUSINESS STANDARD BEST-B SCHOOL PROJECT AWARD where more than 154 B-SCHOOLS of India participated and we were ranked in the TOP 8 position.
  • Aviral Uniyal Student of MBA II Semester has been selected for BRAND AMBASSADOR for FLEXINGIT. "Flexing It is a curate marketplace that connects organizations to professionals and expertise on an 'on demand' basis for projects, consulting assignments, advisory roles and part-time resource needs. Our vision is to be the largest platform for freelance and project-based work for business skills, leveraged by millions of independent professionals and the organizations that need their expertise".
  • Akshay Sharma & Aviral Uniyal MBA II Semester has been awarded a Certificate of Excellence by Careers 360-The Education Hub for performing remarkably during Round 1 of live project "Digital Marketing-Make Every Interaction Count" held from 25th September to 29th October 2015. They stood as the top performer of the event.
  • Amrisha Minocha & Aviral Uniyal of MBA II Semester were selected as Campus Reporter for Business Standard-An elite and reputed newspaper edition gave me this opportunity to be their "Campus Ambassador" where they will cover various formal and informal events of the university and give to them to get it published in "Campus Diaries".
  • Deeksha Jaiswal and Anchal Pundir presented a paper titled “Problems of development in Disaster prone Uttarakhand” at Sixth National Conference of Sociological Association of Uttrakhand, Dehradun.
  • Shashank Shekhar Singh Saun and Saurya Singh of BBA presented a paper at UGC sponsored National seminar on Values, Ethics & Social Responsibility, titled “Role of Gender towards Social Values & Ethics,” ,S.M.J.N.(P.G) College, Haridwar. (28-29 February, 2016). 
  • Rishiman Chandwani presented a paper titled “A study on buying behaviour process of youth towards mobile phones” at World Congress on Management Practices in Business, Banking, Economics, E-Commerce, Marketing and Tourism (BMET-2015) organised by “Krishi Sanskriti” on September 26th and 27th 2015 at Jawahar Lal Nehru University, New Delhi.
  • Samatha Sawan – presented a paper titled “Entrepreneurship and Micro Small Medium Enterprises in Uttrakhand – Issues and Possibilities” at World Congress on Management Practices in Business, Banking, Economics, E-Commerce, Marketing and Tourism (BMET-2015) organised by “Krishi Sanskriti” on September 26th and 27th 2015 at Jawahar Lal Nehru University, New Delhi.
  • Lavish Malhotra and Pahulpreet Singh participated in “Global Community Development Program”,a volunteer project, organised by AIESEC in Moscow (Russia)
  • Shashank Shekhar Singh Saun, Saurya Singh and Mayank Dutta, won first prize at SmartE challenge, an All India Event organized by National Entrepreneurship Network held on 10 March, 2016
